Hi, my name is Jessie, and I am the face behind BeautyxxJessie.
I grew up in Belington, West Virginia, a small town where everybody knows everybody. Growing up, I was always the girl doing people's hair — family, friends, anyone who would let me. It was never just about making someone look good. It was about making them feel seen, feel special, and feel like themselves.
After years of knowing this was something I truly loved, I made the decision to pursue it for real. I enrolled at Aveda Institute in Wilmington, North Carolina, where I'm currently studying cosmetology and learning everything from the science of hair to the art of creating a full client experience.

Beauty chose me before I chose it.
I didn't grow up with a lot, but I always had creativity. Hair was the one thing I could do that made people light up. I'd spend hours on styles — not because anyone asked me to, but because I genuinely loved it. The look on someone's face when they see themselves after a fresh style? There's nothing like it.
I chose cosmetology because it sits at the intersection of art, science, and human connection. Every service is different. Every person is different. And I get to be the one who helps them feel their best. That means everything to me.
BeautyxxJessie isn't just a name — it's a brand I'm building from the ground up.
My vision is to create a space where every woman feels welcome, comfortable, and beautiful. Not just a salon — a full experience. A place where you can come as you are and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.
I'm still at the beginning of that journey. I'm in school, I'm learning, I'm growing. But I've always been someone who works toward what she wants, and I'm not stopping until I get there.
Some people ask me why I chose beauty when there are so many other paths. And my answer is always the same: because this is the one thing that has always felt like me.
When I'm behind the chair, everything makes sense. The world gets quiet. I get to focus on the person in front of me, and for that time, it's just about them — making sure they leave feeling better than when they walked in.
That's the full circle for me. A little girl who loved doing hair grows up and makes it her life's work. I'm not there yet, but I'm on my way. And BeautyxxJessie is how I'm telling that story.
